Indian major ports handled 463.07 mt of traffic during April-November 2019

During April-November 2019-20, the major ports handled 463.07 million tonnes (mt) of traffic, as compared to 461.49 mt in the corresponding period of 2018-19, registering an increase of 0.34 per cent. Deendayal port (erstwhile Kandla port) handled the maximum traffic at 82.21 mt, followed by Paradip port (73.25 mt) and Visakhapatnam port (47.06 mt).
