CtrlS Datacenters has signed a letter of intent (LoI) with the government of Bihar to invest Rs 100 billion to set up a 150-megawatt (MW) hyperscale AI factory in Bodh Gaya, and formally inaugurated its Rs 4 billion AI and cloud-ready data centre in Patna.
The Patna data centre is located in the Patliputra Industrial Area and currently provides an IT load of 12 MW, with scope for future expansion. The facility is designed to support the digital infrastructure needs of enterprises, government institutions, hyperscalers and technology businesses in Bihar and Eastern India. It is built to be natural disaster-proof and energy-efficient, featuring military-grade security.
Looking ahead, CtrlS plans to establish over 20 edge data centres across Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities in India, extending reliable digital infrastructure closer to emerging demand hubs.
