Adani Enterprises Limited (AEL) and Jabil Inc. have signed a non-binding memorandum of understanding (MoU) to establish a proposed 50:50 joint venture (JV) for manufacturing and assembling artificial intelligence (AI) and data centre equipment in India. The agreement builds on a strategic alliance announced by the companies in June 2026 and remains subject to definitive agreements and regulatory approvals.
The proposed venture will cover a range of equipment, including AI racks, servers, storage systems, networking equipment, power distribution units, liquid-cooling systems and transformers. It will also offer installation and commissioning services to support data centre deployments.
The companies aim to develop multi-gigawatt manufacturing capacity for AI racks, catering to the growing demand for high-performance computing infrastructure. The facility is expected to serve India’s domestic market as well as export demand.
