Safran Aircraft Engine Services India (SAESI) has inaugurated a new major LEAP-engine MRO hub at the GMR Aerospace and Industrial Park in Hyderabad on November 26, 2025. The €200 million, 45,000-square-meter facility will be operational in 2026 and will handle up to 300 LEAP engine shop visits annually, supported by a next-generation test bench.
It will support the fast-growing CFM International LEAP engine fleet used on aircraft like the Airbus A320neo and Boeing 737 MAX. Safran also announced a new M88 engine MRO shop for Rafale jets, capable of servicing over 600 modules a year.
