AM/NS Paradip Logistics secures 30-year Paradip Port concession to mechanise CQ-III berth

AMNS Paradip Logistics, has secured a 30-year concession from the Paradip Port Authority to mechanise the CQ-III berth for captive handling of dry bulk cargo. The berth will have a 10 million tonnes per annum (mtpa) capacity and is designed to streamline the movement of iron ore pellets from AM/NS India’s Paradip pellet plant to its Hazira steel facility in Gujarat. A fully mechanised conveyor system will directly connect the pellet complex to the berth, improving cargo handling efficiency and supply-chain reliability. The project, estimated at Rs 4.51 billion, supports the government’s push for coastal shipping as a fuel-efficient, economical and lower-emission transport mode.
