About 30 to 50 per cent work has been completed on seven sewage treatment plants (STPs) under Stage II of the Mumbai Sewerage Disposal Project.
– Versova STP: The scope of work involves design and construction of 180 million litre per day (mld) STP. Around 32 per cent of work is completed. The contract period is 48 months.
– Bhandup STP: The scope of work involves design and construction of 215 mld capacity STP at Bhandup. Around 51 per cent of work is completed. The contract period is 48 months.
– Ghatkopar STP: The scope of work involves design and construction of 337 mld capacity STP at Ghatkopar. Around 42 per cent of work is completed. The contract period is 48 months.
– Dharavi STP: The scope of work involves design and construction of 418 mld capacity STP including the 209 mld tertiary treatment facility. Around 34 per cent of work is completed. The contract period is 60 months.
– Bandra STP: The scope of work involves design and construction of 360 mld capacity STP at Bandra. Around 34 per cent of work is completed. The contract period is 60 months.
– Worli STP: The scope of work involves design and construction of 500 mld capacity STP at Worli. Around 34 per cent of work is completed. The contract period is 60 months.
– Malad STP: The scope of work involves design and construction of 454 mld STP including 227 mld tertiary treatment facility. Around 28 per cent of work is completed.
The project includes an operation and maintenance (O&M) period of 15 years.
