Telecom sector’s AGR rises 3.48 per cent quarter-on-quarter in third quarter of 2024-25, says TRAI data

According to the latest quarterly performance indicator report released by TRAI, the Indian telecom sector saw a 3.48 per cent sequential rise in AGR, reaching Rs 779.34 billion in the quarter ended December 2024. On a year-on-year basis, the gross revenue grew by 14.07 per cent, supported by increased wireless data usage, strong mobile subscriber additions and tariff hikes by private players.
