The Eastern Railway (ER) has commissioned a total of 10 limited height subways (LHS) to enhance safety during the financial year (FY) 2025-26 (till June 5, 2025). This includes seven LHS in the Malda division, two in the Sealdah division and one in the Howrah division.
Besides, during FY 2024-25, the zone constructed 45 LHS, with 15 in the Malda division, 13 in the Howrah division, nine in the Asansol division and eight in the Sealdah division.
