Kalpataru commences work for package C-11 under Nagpur metro project phase II 

Kalpataru Projects International Limited has commenced work for package C-11 under the Nagpur metro project phase II by casting the first pile cap for Reach 3A. The company will cast a total of 2,181 segments from four long-line casting beds and four short-line beds.

Package C-11 involves design and construction of an elevated metro viaduct for the following sections [(Ch) 7,577.056 metres to 13,457.046 metres of length 5.9 km in Reach 2B], [(Ch) 18,218.586 metres to 24,633.194 metres of length 6.41 km in Reach 3A] and [(Ch) 289.668 metres to 5,622.577 metres of length 5.333 km in Reach 4A]. The package was awarded in December 2024.

The project involves the expansion of the metro network in Nagpur, Maharashtra as phase II by 43.8 km to provide connectivity to nearby towns and villages at an estimated cost of Rs 67.08 billion.
