The Punjab government lays foundation stone for Buddha Nullah rejuvenation project

The Punjab government laid the foundation stone for the Buddha Nullah rejuvenation project on January 12, 2021. The project is being implemented by the Punjab Water Supply and Sewerage Board on design, build, operate and transfer basis under the Atal Mission for Rejuvenation and Urban Transformation scheme. It involves rejuvenation of the 47.55 km of drain, which is highly polluted by industrial and domestic waste and will be implemented in two phases. The project is expected to be completed by November 2022.
