AIIB may pump in $1.5 billion in Indian projects

The Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) is planning to pump in $1.5 billion (Rs 95.99 billion) in six new projects in India. The $1.5 billion proposed investment by AIIB, is for the Mumbai Metro Line 4 Project ($500 million), the Bangalore Metro Rail Project Line R6 ($338 million), the National Investment and Infrastructure Fund ($200 million), the Amaravati Sustainable Capital City Development Project ($200 million), the Madhya Pradesh Rural Connectivity Project ($141 million) and the Transmission System Strengthening Project ($100 million).
