IBM and Yotta Data Services have announced the general availability of their sovereign agentic artificial intelligence (AI) platform for Indian organisations. The platform combines IBM’s enterprise AI technologies with Yotta’s sovereign AI cloud and platform capabilities, enabling organisations to deploy AI agents at scale while keeping data, operations and governance within India.
Built using IBM watsonx Orchestrate and deployed on Yotta’s Shakti Cloud, the platform provides an integrated environment for deploying, operating and governing enterprise AI agents. IBM watsonx Orchestrate acts as the agentic control plane for managing AI agents securely, while Shakti Cloud provides the compute, GPU infrastructure, networking, security and operational capabilities required for enterprise AI workloads.
Yotta’s Shakti Studio, an AI platform for model development and inference, further enables organisations to explore, fine-tune, deploy and run both open-source and proprietary AI models.
