Coal India Limited and Hindustan Urvarak & Rasayan Limited (HURL) have signed a non-binding memorandum of understanding (MoU) to explore the development of a coal gasification-based urea plant at Sindri, Jharkhand.
Under the MoU, the two companies will initially assess the project’s technical and commercial feasibility and examine its implementation requirements. The assessment will support the preparation of a preliminary feasibility report to determine the project’s viability.
