The final arm of the Perungalathur Flyover Project has been completed and opened for public use on September 25, 2026.
The Package involved construction of ROB In Lieu Of Lc 32 In Between Tambaram and Vandalur Railway Stations Near Perungalathur Balance Work Part II.
The entire project involved construction of an elliptical-shaped rotary road-over-bridge (ROB) on GST road with six arms, at an estimated cost of Rs 2,350 million in the state of Tamil Nadu.
Additionally, the state has cancelled detailed project report (DPR) tender for the fifth phase of Chennai Peripheral Ring Road (CPRR) project on administrative grounds.
