MTNL has rolled out a voluntary retirement scheme (VRS) for its employees. The scheme is based on the Gujarat model of VRS and will be open for employees till December 3, 2019. Further, BSNL has also rolled out a VRS and directed its circle heads to circulate the guidelines for availing the scheme. Applications for seeking voluntary retirement under the scheme will be accepted from November 4 to December 3, 2019.
