Dee Development Engineers signs framework agreement for nuclear power sector

Dee Development Engineers Limited has entered into a framework agreement with a domestic engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contractor to jointly pursue business opportunities in India’s nuclear power sector.

The agreement covers ongoing and upcoming projects being developed by public and private sector entities, including pressurised heavy water reactors, light water reactors and small modular reactors. As part of the arrangement, the two companies will target piping packages for the nuclear island and turbine island, covering primary piping, common services, secondary-cycle piping and light water systems. Dee Development Engineers will act as the strategic partner and support the EPC contractor across pre-bid activities, design and engineering, and the manufacturing, sourcing and supply of pipes, fittings, piping spools and forged pipes. Meanwhile, the EPC contractor will handle customer interactions, offer preparation, contract finalisation and site activities such as fabrication, erection, testing and commissioning.
