The Government of Delhi approved Delhi Metro Rail Phase VA Project on February 11, 2026. The project comprises three corridors spanning 16.07 km and entails investment of Rs 120.14 billion. The project comprises 13 stations (10 underground and three elevated). The corridors are as follows:
RK Asham Marg – Indraprastha corridor spanning 9.91 km and with stations at R.K Ashram Marg, Shivaji Stadium, Central Secretariat, Kartavya Bhawan, India Gate, War Memorial – High Court, Baroda House, Bharat Mandapam, and Indraprastha.
Aerocity-Indira Gandhi Airport Terminal 1 corridor spanning 2.26 km and with station at Aerocity.
Tughlakabad-Kalindi Kunj corridor spanning 3.9 km and with stations at Sarita Vihar Depot, Madanpur Khadar, and Kalindi Kunj.
The funding for the project is likely to come from Government of India, Government of Delhi, and international funding agencies. The project is expected to be completed by 2028.
