Ankita Construction has received a work order for an amount worth Rs 2,297.29 million for the development of Latur underground drainage scheme (UGDS) Phase II under the Maharashtra Suvarna Jayanti Nagarotthan Mahaabhiyan in Maharashtra. Bids for the same were invited by the Latur City Municipal Corporation in April 2025. Besides, Jayvarudi Infracon Private Limited and LC Infra Projects Private Limited had also submitted bids.
The scope of work includes road restoration in Zone 1 and 2, raising main, sewage pumping station of 53 million litres per day (mld), wet wall with overhead pump house, pumping machinery with supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) automation and other related works.
The work is likely to be completed in 30 months.
