The Union Government has launched the Namo Bharat Rapid Rail service on the route between Patna and Jaynagar in Bihar on April 24, 2025. This service will benefit the people of Samastipur, Darbhanga, Madhubani, and Begusarai.
In addition, an Amrit Bharat Express train has been launched between Saharsa in Bihar and Mumbai in Maharashtra, along with the launch of train services between Pipra and Saharsa, and Saharsa and Samastipur.
