Waaree Renewable Technologies Limited, through its wholly owned subsidiary Waaree Green Data Centers Private Limited, has announced the incorporation of two new wholly owned subsidiaries, Aurovault Data Centers Private Limited and Sunstar Data Centers Private Limited.
Aurovault Data Centers has been established to develop, design, finance, construct, own, lease, operate, maintain, manage and commercialise hyperscale, artificial intelligence (AI)-ready and edge data centres, disaster recovery centres, cloud infrastructure facilities, digital infrastructure parks and colocation facilities in India and abroad. Its planned services include colocation, managed hosting, cloud connectivity, internet exchange, network services, disaster recovery, business continuity, data storage, cybersecurity, AI infrastructure, graphics processing unit hosting and high-performance computing.
Sunstar Data Centers Private Limited was incorporated on September 11, 2026 as a wholly owned subsidiary of Waaree Green Data Centers, which holds 100 per cent of the shares in both entities. Neither company is currently operational. The expansion aligns with the broader growth trend in India’s data centre market, which is projected to increase capacity from 4.48 gigawatts (GW) in 2025 to 15.21 GW by 2031, driven by hyperscalers pre-committing large capacity blocks and signing long-term power purchase agreements.
