Dalmia Cement (Bharat) Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Dalmia Bharat Limited, has signed a share subscription and shareholders agreement to acquire a 26 per cent equity stake in Solis Urja Energy Private Limited for Rs 17.5 million. The acquisition involves 1,750,000 equity shares worth Rs 17.5 million to be acquired in one or more tranches. With this acquisition, the company will source solar power as a captive consumer for a capacity of up to 7 MWp.
