P.C. Snehal Construction Company has received a work order for a contract worth Rs 2,136.16 million for development of the Gondia Sewerage Scheme Phase II under Atal Mission for Rejuvenation and Urban Transformation (AMRUT) 2.0. Bids for the same were invited by Maharashtra Jeevan Pradhikaran in September 2024.
The scope of work includes laying of 85.513 km long distribution network, wet well, pump house, 9.5 million litres per day (mld) sewage treatment plant (STP) based on sequential batch reactor technology, pumping machinery, supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) automation and sewage pumping main and other related works. The work is likely to be completed in two years.
