Central Railway (CR) has commissioned the 9.48 km long Sangli-Miraj section of the Pune-Miraj-Londa line doubling project. With this, the entire Pune-Miraj section has been completed. The project involves doubling of the 467 km long rail line between Pune and Londa via Miraj from Maharashtra to Karnataka.
