The Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region (DoNER) has inaugurated a 132 kV Bairabi-West Phaileng transmission line via Mamit in Mizoram at a cost of Rs 549.5 million. The 74 circuit-km line has been developed to strengthen the state’s electricity transmission network and improve power infrastructure. The project was among five initiatives worth Rs 1.02 billion inaugurated by DoNER in Mizoram as part of a broader development programme worth Rs 3.31 billion.
