CCEA approves four rail projects 

The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs (CCEA) has approved four railway projects worth Rs 246.34 billion. These are:

  • Bhusawal-Wardha Third and Fourth Rail Line Project: It involves construction of a 314 km long third and fourth rail line from Bhusawal in Jalgaon district of Maharashtra to Wardha.
  • Vadodara-Ratlam Third and Fourth Rail Line Project: It involves laying a 258.94 km long line from Ratlam to Vadodara in Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh.
  • Dongargarh-Gondia Fourth Rail Line Project: It involves construction of a 84 km long fourth rail line from Dongargarh to Gondia in Chhattisgarh.
  • Itarsi-Bhopal-Bina Fourth Rail Line Project: It involves laying a 237 km long fourth rail line from Itarsi to Bina in Madhya Pradesh.
