Toshiba-SUEZ consortium wins contract for development of T.K. Halli WTP

A consortium of Toshiba Water Solutions Private Limited and SUEZ India Private Limited has won a contract from the Bangalore Water Supply and Sewerage Board (BWSSB) for the development of the T.K. Halli water treatment plant (WTP) under Phase III of the Bengaluru Water Supply and Sewerage Project. The scope of work involves the design, construction and commissioning of a 775 million litre per day WTP at Thoraikadanahalli on an EPC basis. The period for the completion of work is 30 months with O&M of seven years. The project is being funded by the Japan International Cooperation Agency.
