Synergy Group submits EoI for grounded-Jet Airways

The Synergy Group, a South American conglomerate, has submitted a fresh expression of interest (EoI) for investing in grounded Jet Airways. The EoI has finally been submitted after several extensions of the deadline. Meanwhile, two major airlines – IndiGo and Abu Dhabi-based Etihad Airways – have met government officials and evinced interest in buying the debt-ridden airline; however, a formal EoI in this regard has not been submitted.
