Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (POWERGRID) has commissioned the transmission scheme for integrating renewable energy zones (Phase-II) in Koppal-II (Phase-A and B) and Gadag-II (Phase- A) in Karnataka.
The project was originally entrusted to POWERGRID Koppal Gadag Transmission Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of POWERGRID. Following a Ministry of Corporate Affairs order, the subsidiary was amalgamated with POWERGRID Khavda II-C Transmission Limited.
