The Indora-Dighori flyover on National Highway 353D in Nagpur has been opened to traffic. Developed by the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI), the 8.9 km corridor has been constructed at a cost of Rs 9.97 billion.
The project includes a 6.37 km flyover, two road overbridges (ROBs) and 13.82 km of service and slip roads. The existing Sakkardara Flyover has been integrated into the corridor, while ramps have been provided at Tajbagh and Daga Memorial Women’s Hospital.
The corridor is expected to reduce travel time between Indora and Dighori from around 40-50 minutes to approximately 10-15 minutes by providing grade-separated and signal-free movement.
