Cemindia wins contract for EC-03 under Delhi Metro Phase VA

Cemindia Projects Limited has received letter of award (LoA) worth Rs 10.24 billion for package EC-03 under the Delhi Metro Project Phase V. Bids for the same were invited by Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) in February 2026.

The scope of work involves design and construction of twin tunnel (up and down line) by shield tunnel boring machine (TBM) from Shivaji Stadium station (excluding) to Central Secretariat station (excluding chainage 32,334.99 to 32,539.99 m. at Yuge Yugeen Bharat station) and tunnel by cut and cover from Central Secretariat to Kartavya Bhawan and two underground stations (Central Secretariat and Kartavya Bhawan Station) with entry/exits and connecting subways for Central Vista Corridor.  The work is likely to be completed in 33 months.

Delhi Metro Rail Project Phase VA comprises three corridors spanning 16.07 km and entails investment of Rs 120.14 billion. The project comprises 13 stations (10 underground and 3 elevated). The corridors are as follows: RK Asham Marg – Indraprashta corridor spanning 9.91 km and withstations at R.K Ashram Marg, Shivaji Stadium, Central Secretariat, Kartavya Bhawan, India Gate, War Memorial – High Court, Baroda House, Bharat Mandapam, and Indraprastha; Aerocity-Indira Gandhi Airport Terminal 1 corridor spanning 2.26 km and with station at Aerocity and Tughlakabad-Kalindi Kunj corridor spanning 3.9 km and withstations at Sarita Vihar Depot, Madanpur Khadar, and Kalindi Kunj.
