Groundwork has commenced at Ramwadi station on the Ramwadi – Wagholi Metro Project. This includes geotechnical investigation and soil testing. Besides, the Pune Municipal Corporation has conducted inspections on Ramwadi – Tuljabhawani stretch under the project.
Corridor 2A (Vanaz-Chandini Chowk) spans 1.12 km with two stations whereas corridor 2B (Ramwadi-Wagholi) spans 11.63 km with 11 station.
The projects entail an investment of Rs 36.26 billion and will be equally borne by the state government, central government and external funding agencies.
