According to the executive vice chairman, Bharti Airtel, the strategic partnership between Bharti Airtel, Google, and Adani for developing an artificial intelligence (AI) hub will advance India’s digital ambitions.
He made these remarks at the foundation stone laying ceremony for the mega data centre project, held in the presence of union minister for electronics and information technology, minister of state for communications, the civil aviation minister, and senior executives from Google, Airtel, and Adani ConneX.
As per him, with Visakhapatnam emerging as a new hub on the world’s AI map, the company will ensure that India sets the pace for innovation and sustainable growth, not just for its own people but for the world. He added that Airtel’s full stack of data centres, use of green power, pan-India ultra-low latency fibre, and a next-generation cable landing station will enable large-scale, world-class AI infrastructure in Visakhapatnam.
