Public Investment Board (PIB) approved the Noida Sector 61 – Greater Noida West Sector 4 Metro Rail Project on July 22, 2026.
The project is likely to have stations at Sectors 61, 70, 122, 123 and Greater Noida West Sector 4 (Gaur Chowk). It is a revised version of 18 km metro corridor connecting Sector 61 station with Knowledge Park -5 in Greater Noida via Greater Noida West.
The corridor will now span 8.4 km and is likely to entail investment of Rs 20 billion. It is likely to be implemented by Noida Metro Rail Corporation Limited.
