Maharashtra Metro Rail Corporation Limited (Maha Metro) has commenced the feasibility study for the Sitabuldi-Koradi corridor under the Nagpur Metro Phase III Project. The study will assess traffic density, commuter movement, and transport integration along the corridor.
The study is also likely to explore options for seamless transfers, last mile connectivity and possible integration with other public transport systems. It will form the basis for the preparation of the detailed project report.
The Sitabuldi-Koradi corridor spanning around 11.5 km will have 10 stations in total, and is likely to entail an investment of Rs 35 billion.
