Indian Railways (IR) approved Four lane Road Over Bridge (ROB) at Alkapuri Project on September 24, 2026. It has been sanctioned at a cost of Rs 1.66 billion which will be executed on a cost sharing basis of Rs 832.76 million each by IR and the Government of Gujarat.
The project involves construction of a four lane ROB at Alkapuri in Gujarat under Vadodara division of Western Railway (WR) zone at an estimated cost of Rs 1.66 billion. It will facilitate important connectivity to Vadodara railway station, GSRTC bus station and the upcoming high-speed rail (bullet train) station.
