GAIL’s Srikakulam-Angul Natural Gas Pipeline and IOCL’s LPG bottling plant inaugurated 

The Srikakulam-Angul Natural Gas Pipeline of GAIL (India) Limited was inaugurated on October 16, 2025. The pipeline with a total cost of Rs 17.3 billion stretches across 124 km in Andhra Pradesh and 298 km in Odisha, and targets to supply gas to around 1.5 million households.

Further, Indian Oil Corporation Limited’s (IOCL) liquified petroleum gas (LPG) bottling plant located at Chittor in Andhra Pradesh was also inaugurated on October 16, 2025. The 60,000 tonnes per annum plant entailed an investment of around Rs 2 billion, and has a capacity of filing 20,000 cylinders a day. The plant targets to meet the needs of over 720,000 customers through 80 distributors in four districts of Andhra Pradesh, two districts of Tamil Nadu, and one district of Karnataka.
