The Kanpur Lucknow Expressway Project (Package I & Package II) is likely to be operationalised by end of July 2025. About 57.54 per cent of physical progress has been achieved for the Package I of the project. This involves the construction of 17.52 km long six lane upgradable to eight lane stretch on Kanpur Lucknow expressway including a spur from 10.98 km to 28.5 km in Uttar Pradesh at a sanctioned cost of Rs 19,729.4 million.
About 80.16 per cent of physical progress has been achieved under Package-II of the project. This involves construction of 45.24 km long six lane upgradable to eight lane stretch on Kanpur Lucknow expressway including a spur from 28.5 km to 73.74 km in the state at a sanctioned cost of Rs 24,715.6 million.
