Alpha Alternatives acquires four road assets worth Rs 75 billion

Alpha Alternatives has acquired four operational road assets valued at about Rs 75 billion, deepening its push into India’s road infrastructure sector. The assets were acquired from Ap Co Infratech, KCC Buildcon and Welspun Group. The fund is one of the fastest-growing infrastructure investment platforms in the nation, having invested in 25 road projects over the previous two years in nine states and one union territory, with a total enterprise value of over Rs 250 billion.

Additionally, as domestic infrastructure funds become more interested in de-risked transport assets, these acquisitions demonstrate a growing investor desire for operational road assets supported by long-term annuity and hybrid annuity model (HAM) payment flows.
