The government of Kerala has allocated funds worth Rs 2.89 billion for the Kochi metro rail project phase II under the state budget for FY 2025-26.
The project involves the development of an 11.17 km long metro rail network from Jawaharlal Nehru stadium to Infopark via Kakkanad as an extension of phase I in Kerala with an investment of Rs 19.57 billion.
