LC Infra wins contract for implementation of Bhopal Sewerage Project (Package 3) in Madhya Pradesh

LC Infra Projects Private Limited has won a contract worth Rs 4,002.71 million for the implementation of the Bhopal Sewerage Project (Package 3) under the Atal Mission for Rejuvenation and Urban Transformation (AMRUT) 2.0. Bids for the same were invited by the Bhopal Municipal Corporation (BMC) in July 2024.

The scope of work includes survey, design, construction and commissioning of a sewerage network of 393 km, providing, laying, jointing and commissioning of sewerage pipelines including the construction of manholes and sewer appurtenances, providing sewerage connections to 43,357 houses, providing house sewer chambers and laterals for connecting sewer to consumer sewer lines, providing new and existing house, public toilet, all institutions of sewerage connections, construction of sewage treatment plants (STPs) of 32 million litres per day (mld) near Bawadiya Kalan, 13 mld near Ekant Park, 14 mld near Kotra, 10 mld near Banganga Pump house, 1 mld at Char Imli and 6 mld at TT Near existing Trickling filter STP at TT Nagar etc. including operation and maintenance (O&M) for the proposed works for a period of five years after completion.

The work is expected to be completed in three years.
