The government of Odisha has allocated funds worth Rs 10 billion for the Bhubaneswar metro project phase I.
The project involves construction of 26 km long elevated metro rail corridor from Trishulia to Bhubaneswar Airport with 20 stations. It will be implemented by Bhubaneswar Metro Rail Corporation Limited at an estimated cost of Rs 62.55 billion.
