Afcons Infrastructure Limited has commenced the construction work under Package KBC3 for the Kochi metro rail project phase II.
The work is likely to be completed by March 2026. The project involves the development of an 11.17 km long metro rail network from Jawaharlal Nehru stadium to Infopark via Kakkanad as an extension of phase I in Kerala with an investment of Rs 19.57 billion.
