SCR commissions Bugganipalli-Betamcherla and Gundlakamma-Darsi sections

South Central Railway (SCR) has commissioned the Bugganipalli-Betamcherla section of the Guntur-Guntakal railway line doubling project. The project involves construction of a 401.47-km double railway line with electrification between Guntur-Guntakal in Andhra Pradesh at an investment of Rs 38.87 billion. SCR has also commissioned the 27-km long Gundlakamma-Darsi section of the Nadikudi-Srikalahasti new railway line project. The project involves laying a 309 km long new line between Nadikudi and Srikalahasti in Andhra Pradesh with an investment of Rs 31.22 billion.
