Jagiroad Railway Station to be redeveloped under Amrit Bharat Scheme

Northeast Frontier Railway’s (NFR’s), Jagiroad Railway Station is being redeveloped under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme with an investment of Rs 311.8 million. The tenders for its upgradation have been awarded for all works and foundation work of new station building has also commenced. The existing station building will be extended with improved facade along with special facilities like air-conditioner (AC) and 2nd class waiting halls with latest amenities for the convenience of the passengers including platforms with shelters, different entry and exit areas, Divyangjan friendly ramps among others.
