GCC approves issuance of NOC to CMWSSB for STP at Ayyasamy Street in Chennai

Greater Chennai Corporation (GCC) has approved the issuance of a no-objection certificate (NOC) to the Chennai Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewage Board (CMWSSB) for the development of the sewage treatment plant (STP) at Ayyasamy Street in the Royapuram Zone 5 in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. The scope of work includes the construction of 10 mld modular STP on approximately 1,699 square meters of land. The STP will support the ongoing restoration efforts of the Cooum River and Adyar River under the Chennai River Restoration Trust project.
