Foundation stone laid for outer harbour container terminal project at V.O.C. Port

On February 28, 2024, foundation stone was laid for the development of the outer harbour container terminal project at V. O. Chidambaranar Port. With an investment of Rs 70.56 billion, the project will increase container capacity of the port and significantly boost economy of the state. This is a crucial move towards transforming VOC Port into a transhipment hub for the East Coast.
