UltraTech Cement Limited has commissioned 116.55 MW of wind capacity as part of its inter-state transmission system (ISTS)-connected wind-solar hybrid project in Barmer, Rajasthan.
The company has also commissioned 10 MW of waste heat recovery system (WHRS) capacity at Sarlanagar Cement Works in Karnataka. Following these additions, UltraTech’s installed green energy capacity has increased to 2,024 MW, comprising 1,580 MW of renewable energy and 444 MW of WHRS capacity.
