South Central Railway (SCR) has commissioned third line and electrification works on 12.7-km long Hasanparthi Road-Uppal section of the Ballarshah-Kazipet third line project. The project involves tripling of a 201.04 km long rail line from Balharshah to Kazipet excluding the 33.42 km long Mandamarri-Raghavapuram section in Maharashtra and Telangana, respectively with an investment of Rs 20.63 billion.
