Two post-Panamax quay cranes and four RTGCs inaugurated at Visakha container terminal

The central government has inaugurated two post-Panamax quay cranes and four rubber-tyred gantry cranes at the Visakha container terminal. They have a capacity of handling 41 tonnes of cargo, thereby delivering an increased productivity of about 30 moves per hour. The cranes were procured at a cost of Rs 1.52 billion.
