Passenger traffic increased by 96 per cent at KIA

The Kempegowda International Airport (KIA) in Bengaluru has reported an increase of 96 per cent in passenger traffic in 2022-23. A total of 31.91 mi­llion passengers travelled through the airport during this period, with 28.12 million domestic passengers and 3.78 million international passengers. The growth in domestic and international passengers is 85 per cent and 245 per cent respectively over 2021-22. The increase can be attributed to the addition of new routes and the reintroduction of key routes.
